A review up at The Green Man ....
The Green Man Review just posted a review of Sparks and Shadows:

(N)ot only does Lucy A. Snyder write truly intelligent horror that is both witty and political but her stories and poems tap the feminist potential of horror to illuminate the shadowy extremes of both love and hate.

Yay! I second "witty and political" and "illuminate the shadowy extremes of both love and hate"

That's an awesome blurb. I'm glad you don't hide from being political. I'm not sure when or how that became a bad thing.

My sources indicate it became a bad thing on October 11, 1986 at 3:15 p.m.

No badgers in this one! You must wait for the book what's coming out in a couple of months.

You wrote a book? When did this happen? Dear God, Lucy--you really have to let me in on your life sometime, you know;)

In all seriousness, I couldn't be happier or more proud of you -- and the Installing Linux on a Dead badger book is only going to send more well-deserved kudos your way!

Congratulations! I've been enjoying "Sparks & Shadows" a lot myself. Our friend Sam read "Menstruation for Men" and laughed herself silly.
